Scheduled Maintenance

Details of each machine’s use are recorded on a daily basis and together with scheduled oil sampling, accurate forecasts are provided for when components (for example the engine) should be removed for rebuilding.

Andy's Earthmovers are using the latest technology supplied by Caterpillar called Product Link.
This system utilises GPS to monitor the daily operations of machines on a real time basis,
allowing Andy's the ability to monitor the location and any potential misuse of the machinery.

For example, if a machine is being operated in an incorrect manner causing the engine to overheat,
the system will contact Andy's Maintenance Manager who will immediately investigate the problem.

The system also details information of potential component issues providing the opportunity to avoid
component failure. This service ensures that Andy's Earthmovers machines maintain a high availability rate, and major repairs are scheduled with minimal disruption to productivity.
